As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I have a rather odd name. It is not my birth name. When my first album was set to debut, I decided to dawn a new, more meaningful name, in the spirit of commemorating some amazing composers who inspired me, like Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I wanted something that had the same flare as theirs, while also imbedding my personality into it. So, after dozens of hours of sifting through Greek, Egyptian, Native American, and many more cultures, I settled on Alekzandr, which is Greek for “Defender of Mankind”, Veritas, which is Latin for “Truth”, and Apokalypto, which is Greek for “Revealing”. Strung together, it means “Defender of mankind, by revealing truth”
